FAQ

Got questions? We've got answers. And if we don't, hit us up at licensing@streambeats.com.

General

Is StreamBeats really free?

Yes. 100% free. No subscriptions, no credit codes, no watermarks, no account required. The music is free to use in your streams, videos, and podcasts forever.

How does StreamBeats make money?

When you listen to StreamBeats on Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, or other platforms, those plays generate streaming royalties for Senpai Records. When thousands of creators use the same music, the aggregate streams add up. You get free music, we earn from the platforms. Win-win.

Do I need to create an account?

Nope. No account, no login, no email required. Just browse, find what you like, and listen on your favorite platform.

How many tracks are there?

Over 1,500 tracks across 15+ genres, from lofi and synthwave to EDM, hip-hop, ambient, and more. New albums drop periodically.

Platform Safety

Is StreamBeats safe for Twitch?

We do our best and are actively working to make StreamBeats safe for Twitch via Audible Magic. If you run into issues, report it here and we'll get it sorted.

Is StreamBeats safe for YouTube?

We actively work to keep StreamBeats safe on YouTube via Content ID. You can monetize your videos freely. If you get a false claim, report it here and we'll get it cleared.

What about Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok?

We're actively working to make StreamBeats safe across all platforms, including Meta Rights Manager (Facebook/Instagram) and TikTok MediaMatch. If you run into any issues on these platforms, let us know so we can resolve it.

Downloads

How do I download StreamBeats tracks?

Two options: Bandcamp (name your price, even $0) or the Google Drive folder (direct download, organized by genre). Both give you the same MP3 files. Bandcamp also offers WAV and FLAC if you need higher quality.

What formats are available?

MP3 is available everywhere. WAV and FLAC are available through Bandcamp. For most streaming and video use cases, MP3 is perfectly fine.

The Google Drive says "download limit reached." What do I do?

Google Drive has daily download limits. It's not you, it's them. Try again tomorrow, or grab the album from Bandcamp instead. No download limits there.

Licensing

Do I need to give credit or attribution?

No. Attribution is appreciated but never required. The license is clear on this.

Can I use StreamBeats in my game / movie / TV show?

Games, movies, and TV shows require a separate commercial license. Email licensing@streambeats.com for details.

Where can I read the full license?

The complete Synchronization and Master Use License is on our Licensing page.

Troubleshooting

I got a copyright claim on my video. What do I do?

Fill out the false claim reporting form with your video URL and the track name. The Senpai Records team will clear it.

My Twitch VOD was muted. Is StreamBeats actually safe?

We actively work to keep StreamBeats safe on Twitch via Audible Magic, but no system is perfect. If a VOD gets muted, report it and we'll work to get it resolved.

How do I contact the StreamBeats team?
